As of 2010, Santa Ana is the second most populous city in Orange County. The city has predominant Hispanic population (of any race) of about 78 percent and Non-Hispanic White population of 9.2 percent

Schooling and Education

In addition to Santa Ana Unified school district, which has 60 campuses and 55,000 students, Santa Ana is home to Mater Dei High School, a private Catholic school recognized for its successful athletic programs. The city also has six charter schools, including the Orange County High School of the Arts.
